On Fridays…I run. For so many reasons. I’m not a particularly good runner – I’m average. Although my Garmin says my VO2max is excellent and top 15% of my gender… and I’m sure it’s 100% accurate (wink). But really, I run to help navigate the corporate world I’ve found myself in – at middle age, as a woman in perimenopause, someone with a lifetime of anxiety, someone who is having trouble identifying where I belong, what is this new normal – I haven’t ‘made it’.. but I haven’t ‘not made it’ either. I run as meditation, problem solving, mediation, brainstorming, contemplating, soul searching, feeling seeking, ruminating… and sometimes for exercise.
